Feisty Ferments began in August 2020, selling kombucha at Skerries Mills Farmers Market. This came as a result of positive feedback from family and friends to the kombucha I was making at home. I became interested in making fermented foods and drinks while studying Nutritional Therapy. The fermented foods and drinks I was producing were, and are, directly linked to my work as a Nutritional Therapist, where ‘all health starts with gut health’. Feisty Ferments is a small artisan food business, making small batches of raw, unpasteurised kombucha. We produce currently in our kitchen production unit at BEaT Centre in Balbriggan.
The Feisty Nutritionist. Clare, founder of Feisty Ferments, is a fully certified Nutritional Therapist, and lovingly produces kombucha in the heart of North County Dublin. She’s passionate about gut health and the benefits of fermented foods and drinks, as well as striving to improve the health, wellbeing and happiness of all individuals. Clare knows that ‘healthy’ can also mean tasty and easy-to-achieve, and believes we all deserve to know that too. She puts her heart and soul into creating kombucha with explosive flavour.
