About Us
Founded in 2009 by Marc and Emer Hynes, Java the Hut Coffee, started selling coffee at Farmers Markets and Food Shows. After great success we won the tender with Irish Rail to set up coffee shop at Balbriggan Train Station where we currently retail from Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm. Our two Java the Hut mobile coffee units can also be seen at local festivals and events throughout the country.
Building strong links with coffee growers and suppliers along with a passion for coffee tasting and roasting, in 2018, Java the Hut opened a Micro Roastery. Based in Balbriggan, North County Dublin and the first in North Fingal, our coffee is craft-roasted in small batches ensuring freshness and allows us to maintain the highest quality standards.
